Creativity and Storytelling with Marketing MSc students at Trinity College Dublin

I had a great lecture with the current cohort of Marketing MSc students at Trinity College Dublin today, where I spoke to them about creativity and the art of storytelling. This was filtered through the lens of brand storytelling, and how to build a brand from the inside out by focusing on the employee experience.

We also did some fun creative exercises that asked the students to think about storytelling in different ways – from brevity to levity – and create messages that stick. . This was one of the more popular parts of the day and it got a great response, with several students saying it reawakened a part of them they hadn’t accessed in years.

I was grateful to Stephen Murphy for the invitation, and absolutely delighted with the response from this gifted group of students. The future of marketing is clearly in safe hands.
