The Art & Science of Storytelling - A practical storytelling workshop for leaders, founders, and professionals who want to influence with clarity and confidence. -- Thurs May 22nd - 3pm - 4.30pm Dublin Time - 35 EURO. Kalle Ryan and Merve Hokamp. Online Workshop

On May 22nd, myself and Merve Hokamp will be delivering a storytelling workshop for anyone who wants to improve their professional storytelling skills.

What’s the Story?

That’s how loads of us greet each other in Ireland, but it might just be the most fundamental question of them all, when it comes to connecting with each other.

Since childhood, stories are generally how we make sense of the world. They’re how we learn, connect, and remember. Our brains are literally wired to respond to stories in ways they just don’t with facts and figures alone.

But in our professional lives, we seem to have abandoned storytelling for dull, dry, forgettable waffle. We deliver data dumps instead of narratives. We share bits of information, when all that people really need is meaning.

And then we wonder why our brilliant ideas don’t stick.
